THE TEQUILA GUYS

FIELD TO
FUTURE.

Sustainability begins with how the agave is grown, used and returned to the land.

OUR STANDARD
FIELD
TO
LIQUID.

How we use estate-grown agave, return agave by-products to the land and support the long-nosed bats that pollinate agave ecosystems.

WHAT THIS MEANS

THE DETAILS.

These are the production choices and practical standards behind the tequila we supply.

01

Estate-grown agave

Growing most of our agave on our own estate gives us greater control over field practices, maturity and traceability.

02

Trusted traceable farms

When additional agave is required, we use trusted growers with full traceability rather than buying anonymous raw material.

03

Full maturity

We grow agave for at least seven years. Mature plants build the sugars and character needed for quality tequila.

04

Agave back to the land

Leftover fibre, husks and leaves are used for compost, returning organic matter to fields for future generations of agave.

05

Supporting agave pollinators

Long-nosed bats in the genus Leptonycteris are important agave pollinators. We support practices that recognise their role in healthy agave ecosystems.

06

Continuous improvement

Sustainability is not a single claim. We look for practical improvements across farming, production, waste, packaging and logistics where the project allows.
